If you hear it with earphones/headphones you can clearly hear the line "in your head" but with speakers the effect is loss therefore it doesn't sound at all. I find about this in a post: "Additionally, when viewing the music video, this line boasts a particular and notable effect. One channel uses a traditional sound-wave, while the other plays an inverted one. Effectively, when listening on headphones, the sentence is heard clearly. If listening on speakers however, the line is inaudible, due to the waves cancelling each other out. "

fun fact: 2:58 has one channel playing the normal sound wave and the other playing the same wave but inverted. basically this means that when you listen on speakers it's silent, as they cancel eachother out but when you listen on headphones it's clear as day. so yeah, it is all in your head :)
