I was skeptical about the "Murdoc isnt there to continue hitting 2D" explanation about the white eyes since usually people in youtube comments just leave it at that with no details, and I didn't know much about 8 ball fracture. But I searched around and it turns out that 8 ball fractures can heal after a few days, but that a person who had it are more likely to get it again if they suffer from head trauma again. And Murdoc WOULD care that much about keeping up the band's image that he would keep knocking 2D on the head to prevent the eyes from healing. Murdoc being in jail means 2D in this vid got to heal his eyes, and then Russel trips him, he falls hard, 8 ball fracture came back which meant blurry eyes, then 2D struggles with skating

2D has 8 ball fractures, they heal quick but come back easily once you get them. He starts stumbling after his eyes go black because theyre full of blood and it makes him vision blurry.

I remember when this first dropped, just woke up in downtown Maimi for vacation at the beginning of summer and started to stroll the beaches with this playing all day. Chillest Stroll Ever 🤧🤧🤧

I have a theory on why his eyes turn back black. He has Hyphema, which normally heals quickly. But his doesn’t. Irl, if you get head trauma your hyphena will return. And 2D is always getting hit on the head by Murdoc, maybe because Murdoc wants to keep up the ‘black eyed god’ front for 2D. And since Murdoc wasn’t there his eyes could heal. Then when Russel tripped him he fell on his head and his eyes went black again

Black Death I think it’s a bit more of 2D is actually happy now that Murdoc is gone because Murdoc hit him with a car then got him through out a a car making both his eyes black then pretty much kidnapped him so he can be in a band. Also Murdoc is kinda abusive to 2D and I don’t think 2D really hates Murdoc he’s just enjoying some time away from him.

My all time favorite Gorillaz song here, folks. Absolutely beautiful and makes me cry every time I listen to it. Also Jack Black being there just adds to the song in such an amazing way. Absolutely great! 10/10
