Kevin Andersen Ohhh... sorry, i thought she was little dragon, i meant the singer herself because i never really looked into them too deeply. i was under the impression that SHE was little dragon.(saw a studio video of just her and damon playing together so i kind of assumed from that point on, my bad.) thanks for clarifying. :3

Kevin Andersen Little Dragon is Yukimi Nagano's nickname. That's how the group got its name in the first place. So you're both right!
something about this performance. probably my favorite rendition of the song. brings a tear to the eye

What do you think of her voice? Unusual isn't it? I also looked up a song by the band that has the song that Jodi and Travis apparently watched a video of on the morning of his death. Daft Punk, not the song they watched but another that was a big hit in USA. I'll just go to it....
2023 con ansiedad social, tomandome unas coronas con los pies cruzados y desesperados pero feliz bailando esta canción les deseo todo lo lindo de la vida
I still get goosebumps from this song, so pleasant and melancholic. IM CRYING!!!!
Song takes me to a special place in my mind of being at peace.

This is Gorillaz's masterpiece and I'm not going to argue
Everything balanced and off set to each other, perfectly harmonized and chaotic yet sweetly ironic, this song has many depths and reveals its secrets the more one listens and yes watches as it is visibly juxtaposition-ed with opposites. Superb, bordering on perfection.

***** The way I see it is - Damon and his fellow artists took the effort to write this as a complex song thus I acknowledge that and give them the credit for it. There are many levels art can be understood. I like to find the complexities. But each to his own. Happy listening. :)

Why thank you. When I thought about this song it just seemed so complex and sort of Yin Yang sense of opposites making a whole statement. I love it and you can dance to it too.

I believe this is the most meaningful and calming song Gorillaz made to date. This song always gives me in a good feeling even on rough days. Sometimes it gets me dancing haha. I do recommend this song to everyone who wants to have a good feeling if your having a rough day or just having a great day. Keep those 2010's beats rolling! ✌
I just can't listen to this song without seeing this , it's beautiful.

This is the song that introduced me to Little Dragon, and I have loved them ever since. Yukimi has such a lovely unique voice.
I've never been able to get enough of this song since it's release. So amazing!
Little Dragon has to be one of the most underrated bands of the last decade
"Empire Ants," in combination with some yellow stars aligning, made me feel a sense of life I thought I lost two long years ago. I've known of Gorillaz since the beginning, but kind of scoffed at the sudden and quick rise in popularity. But someone I love very much happens to very much love Gorillaz. I checked in on her on Spotify, clicked what she last played to try to get the feeling I get when she and I manage to meet up over vast distances, which I haven't felt in all this time. Not until hearing this. Thank you.
Lyrics: Oh joy's arise The sun has come again to hold you Sailing out the doldrums of the whole week The polyphonic prairies here, it's all around you It's all around you, out here And if the whole world is crashing down Fall through space out of mind again Where the emptiness we leave behind on warm air rising Blows all the shadows far away The falling of the whole empire, is here to hold you Rolling out and haunted 'til it sleeps Little memories, marching on Your little feet, working the machine Will it spin, will it soar My little dream, working the machine Soon like a wave, empires will fall And closing in on you they're going on Little memories Your little feet, working the machine Will it spin, will it soar My little dream, working the machine Soon like a wave that pass will fall And closing in on you they're going on
