Id disagree it has alot of thought in the music and alot of thought in the lyrics the album is supposed to be this look into music for the future a more electronic sound that's not better or worse but just a sad goodbye to the old ways it's supposed to sound rlly studio in am art form like a look at where we are on our way from the old to the future or real beach to a fake or plastic beach

I remember driving to my parents house.......depressed as hell, and I didn't know why since I have a good life. But I was listening to this album and for whatever reason, it pulled me out of that dark place I was in. I will forever be grateful to Damon Albarn. Whenever life gets rough, his music pulls me through.

I was blessed to see them in SF they are amazing! I mean everything about the show was amazing! This song had everybody singing and I remember I was holding my GF and she was crying happy tears lol probably cause she was drunk too but just do whatever you can to see them live!

The real band doesn't really have "members", though - it's basically the biggest session musician gig out there, with plenty of A-listers eager to play with them. Damon's got a lot of cred. Gorillaz may go down as one of the sneakiest best bands of all time once all is said and done. Edit: Jayy pointed out that there are three actual members and he is correct - everyone he listed is credited in Reject False Icons as a band member and Remi does contribute musically. So, the spirit of what I said is still mostly correct still, but there's a little more stability.

Seeing Gorillaz live is something that can't be captured on a video or said with words. The energy, people around you and overall the "mood" changing songs right after each other. I sure don't know how it is to be drugged to the bones, but damn I make no ill will towards those who are willing to be, since the experience alone without any drugs was really powerful. Rhinestone Eyes and Oh Green World with Kids with Guns performed even today are one of the best songs you can hear live
